In this economy, integrators need all the help they can get to be efficient and optimize profit opportunities on jobs. Toward that end, Jetbuilt continues to improve the capabilities of its leading cloud-based project software platform, an all-in-one solution for streamlining various aspects of integrators’ job workflows.
The platform is made up of several different modules, and Matthew Mickels, director of global sales, Jetbuilt, outlined the latest features during the recently held CEDIA Expo 2022 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas.
“A core module which has been around for eight years is our quoting platform,” Mickels notes. “Having the ability to combine a customer’s vendor pricing inside of an application so that way they can add all of the equipment into a project, see their profitability, see their margins and present a beautiful proposal to their customers that is very logically laid out – that is the core of the Jetbuilt application.”
Mickels says that the software platform has evolved and grown with the addition of modules over the years to become more robust.
At CEDIA Expo 2022, the company was highlighting the new technical data fields module, the latest feature to support the platform’s engineering efforts. Along with technical data fields, Jetbuilt detailed engineering scrub, a CRM funnel module and JEL, the Jetbuilt Engineering Lab, and more to booth attendees.

“We also added on the backend an install module, so now that way you can win that project, assign the technicians the work they need to be performing, capturing their actual time and work performed in the field so you can get a better idea of what your profit and loss is going to be,” Mickels explains. “Not just from the equipment, but from the installation.”
Jetbuilt launched the engineering scrub feature early this year and it allows integrators to enforce a technical review as part of the workflow. Scrub ensures every item is approved from an engineering perspective before the project moves to the next stage. By having key technical data at the ready and auto-calculated, this process will be streamlined as well.
Also introduced in 2022, JEL provides the ability to commission CAD drawings, REVIT drawings, 3D renderings and presale engineering as needed, all within the integrated workflow of Jetbuilt. The CRM funnel enables dealers to easily track the project lifecycle.
