CEDIA Expo Virtual Preview: Access Networks Unveils New Wi-Fi 6 APs, Training

Access Networks will debut its new line of Wi-Fi 6 access points and host four training sessions during the CEDIA Expo this year.

Access Networks is planning to debut several new products, including a new line of Wi-Fi 6 access points, and is holding multiple training sessions during CEDIA Expo Virtual on September 15-17.

The proliferation of work-from-home situation and distance learning for schools has put a greater emphasis on the home network.

“We have several new product announcements set for the show,” says Bryce Nordstrand, chief sales officer at Access Networks. “We are expanding the line of Wi-Fi 6 access points that we sell under the Access Networks brand name. Right now we have one model that is Wi-Fi 6 certified and we are going to introduce two more. There is going to be a entry-level, a mid-model and the current model, which is she top of the line.”

Access Networks also plans to introduce a cloud component to its Wi-Fi solutions at the show. Currently, the company only has hardware-based controllers that live on site at the home.

The company will also be holding several trainings:

  • “AV Over IP,” Thursday, Sept. 17, 3 p.m. with Director of Training & Development Nathan Holmes
  • “WLAN Design & Implementation Best Practices,” Thursday, Sept. 17, 12 noon EDT with Partner Training & Development Manager Bobby Giebenrath
  • “Wi-Fi 6 Is Here,” Wednesday, Sept. 16, 12 noon – 1 p.m. EDT with Director of Training & Development Nathan Holmes
  • “Selling Enterprise-Grade Networks,” Wednesday, Sept. 16, 3 p.m. EDT with Sales Manager Andrew Ward

In addition, Access Networks’ founder and CEO Hagai Feiner will be participating in a keynote panel on the first morning of the show. “State of the Industry: Planning & Budgeting for COVID-19 Effects in 2021,” will take place Wednesday, Sept. 16, 11 a.m., EDT.
