ADI Global Distribution recently announced the cancellation of all ADI Expo events for the remainder of 2020.
ADI, a business segment of Resideo, said it continues to monitor the coronavirus crisis while its top priority remains the health and safety of team members, customers and supplier partners. After careful consideration, the company made the difficult decision to cancel all ADI Expo events for the remainder of 2020.
The ADI Expo program is planned to resume in February 2021.
“For more than 25 years, the ADI Expos have been an important part of our industry as our customers rely on us to provide them with training on the latest technologies. We remain committed to leading the industry in educational opportunities for our customers, and we look forward to hosting these events again next year,” says Marco Cardazzi, vice president, global marketing at ADI. “In the meantime, we will continue to ramp up our online webinar offerings and encourage customers to participate in training through ADI Academy, our new on-demand training platform.”
Now more than ever, online training has become more important and the wholesale distributor’s online academy allows dealers to participate in industry and product training anytime, anywhere, the announcement states. The online curriculum offers a wide variety of training across a number of categories including security, access control, IP video surveillance, networking, cybersecurity and more.
