Denon, a manufacturer of home and personal audio components, has announced its new Denon Home Subwoofer.
The popular company says that its latest product augments the playback capabilities of its Denon Home 550 Sound Bar or any Denon Home wireless loudspeaker. According to Denon, all integrators need to do for the installation of the Denon Home Subwoofer is plug the subwoofer into a power outlet and place it on a client’s wireless network.
Internally, the Denon Home Subwoofer houses an 8-inch woofer that is built into a sleek, small-footprint enclosure that matches the industrial designs of the rest of the company’s line of wireless speaker products.
Denon points out that its new 8-inch compact subwoofer also offers its HEOS wireless whole-house audio platform. Through the use of HEOS, integrators can design and install complete whole-house audio systems that includes zones of home theater. When used within a home theater the Denon Home Sub supports the company’s 550 Sound Bar to provide a full 5.1 audio experience to homeowners.

Register Now!ÂThe HEOS platform is supported by Denon’s companion HEOS app, which allows integrators to adjust the Denon Home Subwoofer’s output level, low-pass filter setting, and phase to ensure the subwoofer is properly integrated into a home space.
Denon notes the the HEOS app also provides the ability to play high-resolution audio content and to stream content from services that include Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music HD, Pandora, TIDAL and others. Homeowners can also use their preferred method to stream music using a choice of Wi-Fi, Apple AirPlay 2 or Bluetooth.
Additionally, Denon notes these products can also be combined with any other product that features HEOS, including AV receivers to create customized whole-house entertainment and home theater solutions.
MSRP for the Denon Home Subwoofer is $599, and the company says the sub is available for order.
