Audio amplification, signal processing and transducer systems manufacturer Powersoft is partnering with Ferrari to bring an enhanced audio experience to the Italian luxury automotive brand.
According to the Italian companies, the partnership is designed to develop solutions that enhance the audio experience from the Ferrari brand while minimizing energy consumption and improving efficiency, reliability and sound quality.
Powersoft brings features such as heat dissipation, recycling of reactive energy from speakers and installation flexibility thanks to a favorable weight/power ratio. These features played a pivotal role in the partnership, the company says.
Powersoft’s development philosophy prioritizes reducing environmental impact through technology advancements and environmentally-conscious manufacturing processes. This commitment aligns seamlessly with Ferrari’s pursuit of excellence, whose aim is to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030, the company says.
The partnership also marks the first such collaboration with an auto manufacturer for Powersoft.

Powersoft CEO Luca Lastrucci says the Ferrari partnership marks a significant milestone in the company’s history, bringing together high-end Italian brands from the acoustics and automotive markets.
“Both companies share the core values of excellence, innovation and a passion for engineering and technology development,” Lastrucci says. “We’re excited to lend our know-how to enhance Ferrari’s audio experience.”
Ferrari Chief Research & Development Officer Ernesto Lasalandra says the company is “thrilled” by the new partnership with Powersoft which they hope will bring advanced audio experiences to Ferrari vehicles.
“By pooling our expertise and know-how, our goal is to develop cutting edge solutions and offer superior sound quality that we eagerly anticipate sharing with our customers,” Lasalandra says.
