Klipsch, a popular home audio company, has launched its Klipsch Flexus Sound System, powered by Onkyo.
According to the company, the historic first collaboration with sister brand Onkyo, a manufacturer of AV receivers, was first previewed at CES 2024. The system includes the Flexus Core 100 and Core 200 soundbar models, the Flexus Surr 100 wireless surround speakers, and the Flexus Sub 100 wireless subwoofer.
“Flexus represents over three years of meticulous planning to deliver the world’s finest, acoustically-mastered sound system. This includes the acquisition of one of the most legendary Japanese technology companies … Onkyo,” comments Paul Jacobs, president and CEO, Klipsch. “Our confidence in building a global tech team inspired an unparalleled investment toward our future. We believe the Flexus Sound System will reset the industry standard and set the stage for Premium Audio Company as a global leader.”
A Closer Look at the new Klipsch Flexus Line of Products
Klipsch emphasizes the product line features an all-new electronics package to ensure the speakers perform reliably. The global audio company boasts that each product undergoes over 1,000 points of testing developed and performed by Klipsch’s and Onkyo’s combined research and development (R&D) teams.
The company explains that its Transport technology makes setting up and connecting the Flexus family of products across multiple channels easy with the products’ pre-paired USB transmitter that is included with Flexus surrounds and Flexus subwoofers. This connectivity, Klipsch continues, allows the Core models to connect quickly, and the connections support system expansion by eliminating complex configuration steps.
