It’s time to show off some of the great work you are doing… and get recognized (and rewarded) for it! In the lead-up to CEDIA Expo Virtual 2020, Samsung is partnering with CE Pro to launch the inaugural Samsung Best Install Contest. This contest is open to any U.S.-based custom install dealers attending CEDIA Expo Virtual 2020.
To enter the contest, the installation must feature a Samsung display/TV product in the residence of an end-user.
There are three categories:
- Best Indoor Video Install
- Best Outdoor Video Install
- Best Direct View dvLED Wall Residential Install
Entering is easy. Requirements for entry include:
- At least one image of the install
- A brief description of what was installed
- Any challenges that were overcome
- End-user’s reaction
All entrants receive a $5 Starbucks/ Amazon gift card and the winners in each category will receive a 65-inch Q800T QLED 8K TV.

Entries will be judged by CE Pro and Samsung. The winners will be unveiled on Tuesday, September 15 during CEDIA Expo Virtual.
Samsung has been on a roll lately. Its broad line of 4K QLED TVs, which come in 32, 43-, 49-, 55-, 65-, 75-, 82-, 85- and 98-inch sizes, has help the company garner a 90% marketshare among the CE Pro 100. That represents a 100% growth rate since 2004 when just the company had just 45 of the CE Pro 100 carrying its displays. The Samsung Platinum Dealer Program is also on the rise, with more than 500 integrators now participating.
Meanwhile, the company’s Lifestyle portfolio of products, including The Serif, The Frame, The Terrace outdoor display, and The Sero rotating display, are gaining strong market presence. The company also just unveiled its new The Premiere ultra short throw projector to the market. On the 8K front, the new Samsung 8K Model QN 98-Q 900RBF 98-inch QLED display, with an MSRP of $64,999, is also causing a stir. Integrators displaying the units in their showrooms are reporting brisk sales.
