H-P Unveils SEBO Powerheads to Provide the Ultimate Vacuum Machine

Backed by a five-year warranty, H-P says SEBO's Acclaim 12 and Acclaim 15 powerheads can be used with central vac systems such as its Vacuflo, Element, Dirt Devil and Vroom product lines.

Germany is well known for producing benchmark consumer goods such as Stihl chainsaws, Neumann microphones and, of course, the “ultimate driving machine” BMW.

Adding to the allure of German engineering, the Louisville, Ohio-based central vacuum company H-P Products has formed a distribution agreement with Germany’s SEBO to bring the company’s powerheads to U.S. consumers. H-P says says the two new powerheads weigh less than six pounds each and are designed to provide homeowners with a choice of long lasting, versatile and easy-to-use solutions.

“Our central vacuum systems are design to provide a lifetime of convenient, deep cleaning power, so the accessories we pair with the need to be equally effective and resilient,” says Sarah Busch, marketing manager, H-P Products. “This distribution agreement with SEBO is a major win for our dealers and their customers because it gives them a premium powerhead option that’s extremely powerful and easy to maintain.”

The two powerheads, the Acclaim 12 and the Acclaim 15, produce 2,700 RPMs of brush speed and offer four usage levels to enable homeowners to clean carpets and other floor surfaces. H-P points out the powerheads incorporate a 180-degree swivel neck design that helps users maneuver into locations that are otherwise difficult for vacuums to reach, including places like around sofas, end tables and other furniture. H-P adds the powerheads are fitted with thick rubber wheels and bumpers to minimize their impact and damage to their surrounding environment.

Other features built into the products include self-diagnostic maintenance features, such as an automatic shutoff function the protects the brush, belt and motor when the powerheads are jammed. The Acclaim 12 and Acclaim 15’s indicator lights communicate jams, incorrect height settings, and when roller brushes need to be replaced.

H-P Products backs the powerheads with five-year warranties. The company says the powerheads work with its Vacuflo, Element Dirt Devil and Vroom product lines.
