Snap One partners in the U.S. can now order Digital Watchdog video surveillance products via the company’s e-commerce portal.
According to the Charlotte, N.C. manufacturer of smart living technology, making Digital Watchdog’s security solutions available online gives integrators a fast, simple purchasing experiences and increases the value of the company’s e-commerce platform.
Digital Watchdog offers several security solutions, including a video management system, edge analytics and server-side analytics. Digital Watchdog products are fully compatible with many of Snap One’s current offerings, as well as other major manufacturers in the video surveillance market. The video management system helps users monitor events from a number of cameras, alarms or sensors.
Andrea Balassy, senior business development manager at Snap One, says the company is committed to providing convenient purchasing options for its partners.
“The new online availability makes our web portal even more valuable for Partners across the U.S. by offering surveillance products at multiple levels of sophistication and cost, enabling greater design flexibility and ability to tackle different types of jobs,” Balassy says.

Digital Watchdog has been a Snap One partner brand since Snap One began carrying its products at stores in late 2022. Now, Digital Watchdog directly supports Snap One partners with free half-day in-person training sessions at Local Pro Stores across the country, Balassy adds.
Current dealers of Digital Watchdog solutions can port their existing authorized dealer status into Snap One’s system, while uninitiated dealers can become authorized through a simple form available at all local partner stores and the e-commerce platform, according to Snap One.
Any required licenses to unlock additional capabilities or integrate with existing systems can be obtained at local partner stores. Given the manufacturer’s wide product catalog, any items beyond the 51 officially stocked Digital Watchdog SKUs are available for special order through local partner store branches.
In addition to accruing one point per dollar spent on a Digital Watchdog purchase, Snap One says partners can also register large projects for specific Digital Watchdog discounts and benefits and earn manufacturer discounts through progressive sales tiers on an annual basis.
