Choosing a system for the home office wasn’t hard; the owner was a long-time user of Crestron systems to keep operations at his cybersecurity company running smoothly, efficiently, and securely. The home office looks and performs to the level of any corporate office, but with the added perk of easy, convenient home control. Lighting, motorized shades, climate, AV, security, and cameras all come together under the Creston Home app, which runs natively on the tabletop conference device. Scenes can be created and recalled to achieve the desired ambiance in the office or elsewhere in the home, where many unique areas provide the family with plenty of enjoyable activities and great way to unwind after a long day “in the office.”
Featured in the impressively appointed home are a cozy home theater, well-stocked wine cellar, indoor golf simulator and basketball court. Whichever activity, he can prepare the space for his arrival right from the office tabletop conference device or mobile app.
If he’s planning a trip to another residence, he can synch up remotely with that particular home’s Crestron system to set the lights, thermostats and other devices for his arrival. It streamlines his personal and business life so he can concentrate on more pressing matters impacting his cybersecurity company.
The owners required minimal training to master consolidated management, and control of the areas inside and outside the home office, including remote residences.
