Vanco, a manufacturer of custom electronics products for residential and commercial applications, has announced its new EVEXHDB3 HDBaseT 3.0 Extender.
The Midwest-based company points out the latest product addition to its Evolution series of products allows integrators to distribute 4K video, along with multichannel audio with current-generation HDMI specifications distances as far as 330 feet (100 meters). Vanco states the EVEXHDB3 HDBaseT 3.0 Extender transmits HDMI 2.1 signals over Cat-6/Cat-6A cables with the ability to support 4K video at 60Hz, as well as 4:4:4 chroma subsampling, HDR compatibility, and immersive audio support capabilities.
Vanco also emphasizes that its latest extender also supports KVM (keyboard, video and mouse), CEC, ARC, eARC, and 1 GHz Ethernet pass-through.
Helping to make the EVEXHDB3 HDBaseT 3.0 Extender integrator friendly, Vanco notes the solution incorporates support for IR and RS-232 control, and it includes PoH options.
In addition, the new HDBaseT 3.0 Extender offers built-in audio de-embedding to enable the breakout of audio to an audio system, and an HDMI loop-out function for monitoring at the transmitter end of an AV distribution system.
