Luxul, a manufacturer of networking products has announced its newest network switches: The SW-100-04P and SW-100-08P Gigabit PoE+ switches.
The company says that its latest products are designed to fit into media cabinets or behind large displays.
Explaining the products in greater detail, Luxul states its new switches incorporate dedicated uplink ports for connection to routers and upstream switches. The SW-100-04P switch features four PoE+ Gigabit ports with a total power budget of 58 watts. The SW-100-08P switch features eight PoE+ ports and a total power budget of 92 watts.
Luxul points out the SW-100-04P and SW-100-08P switches are also fanless units that utilize metal cases, along with keyhole provisions and rubber feet to support their placement in a range of locations.
The company adds that its new network switches can be used for home networks, AV over IP systems and other applications to provide integrators with system configuration flexibility.
