Bringing a simple, but elegant state-of-the-art surround sound solution to the market, Primare has announced its SPA25 Prisma Integrated Amplifier.
The Scandinavian manufacturer says that its latest product provides integrators with a combination multichannel processor and multichannel amplifier that meets the standards of modern audiophiles and video enthusiasts. Primare states the SPA25 Prisma Integrated Amplifier incorporates 11 channels of amplification that are capable of delivering 145 watts into 8 ohms or 250 watts into 4 ohms stereo. In total, the amplification provides 900 watts of power to support configurations that include 7.1.4 channels of immersive audio via formats such as Dolby Atmos or DTS:X.
The new multimedia/home theater solution also supports 4K video, as well as HDR video content, eARC, and Dirac Live room correction options.
Internally, Primare emphasizes that its new SPA25 Prisma Integrated Amplifier employs dual eight-channel DAC chips that allow for a unique digital-to-analog conversion circuit that allocates four channels of conversion to the front left and right channel output for improved stereo performance.
Some of the other home entertainment options the SPA25 Prisma Integrated Amplifier offers includes multiroom and multizone entertainment, Apple AirPlay 2, Bluetooth, Chromecast, Roon and Spotify Connect.
