Hunter Douglas explains that smart shading provides convenience, privacy and energy savings, and its PowerView+ Hardwired Shade Control can facilitate these benefits.
The window treatment manufacturer says the PowerView+ Hardwired Shade Control is a new low-voltage, hardwired smart shading solution that connects to a 16-shade Smart Power Supply via a four-conductor control cable.
Hunter Douglas points out each power supply connects to a home’s network using an Ethernet to provide IP control. When paired with its PowerView Hub homeowners can control more than 100 shades. A central part of the PowerView+ Hardwired Shade Control’s functionality is based on its motor housing that is designed to dampen noise, while accommodating shades as large as 156-inches wide by 180-inches high.
The PowerView+ Hardwired Smart Shade Control system also allows homeowners to control their shades through the use of Hunter Douglas’ companion PowerView app, Pebble Remote or voice control.
Integrators can also setup more advanced shade control options, including scenes and schedules when installing the solution.
In addition, the PowerView+ Hardwired Smart Shade Control also integrates into control systems from top companies such as Crestron, Control4 and Savant.
