SnapAV has announced the latest wireless networking product from its Pakedge brand: the WA-4200 Wireless Access Point (WAP).
Pakedge says that its new WA-4200 4×4 Wave 2 indoor WAP was developed to install into large, high-density residential and commercial projects that need high-performance wireless connectivity.
The company’s new WAP supports activities such as 4K video streaming and HD video streaming to multiple devices simultaneously.
Pakedge points out the WA-4200 incorporates 802.11ac Wave 2 and beam forming technologies, as well as a 4×4 MU-MIMO antenna to enable the WAP to deliver data rates up to 2,600 Mbps.
Like other WA Series products the access point supports cloud configuration for multi-AP installations with BakPak remote management capabilities. Through the use of the BakPak platform, Pakedge says that integrators can remotely manage their clients’ networks via the BakPak desktop or mobile app.
Pakedge adds the WA-4200 also includes a mounting template and accessory kit to facilitate its installation into a range of indoor environments.
