Nice, a global electronics companies with several well-known brands, has announced the release of its Gefen brand’s AVoIP Matrix Controller.
Gefen says that its latest product is a flexible solution that integrators can employ to provide control over compatible video and KVM IP-based extenders within the same network. Gefen states that it designed its new AVoIP Matrix Controller with scalability as a key feature of the product. The company says that integrators can use the product to single-handedly control and distribute content in large environments such as sports venues, or use it for the management of video walls, digital signage and conferencing systems.
The Calif.-based company explains the AVoIP Matrix Controller offers integrators and end users with a wealth of presets and web-based GUI control capabilities to enable the design and installation of any type of AV-over-IP system.
Some of the other features the new matrix controller offers includes plug-in support for keyboard/mouse or compatible third-party touchscreens to provide more control and system flexibility. Gefen also emphasizes that its latest AV-over-IP product delivers near instantaneous switching between sources to create high levels of continuity between content and a seamless user experience.
Gefen adds that any changes made to sources can be made in real time to save time for integrators by eliminating the need to reset the system once a change is made.
