The benchmark lighting and shade manufacturer Lutron has introduced its new Triathlon and Serena Smart Wood Blinds.
Lutron says that its latest products are designed for homeowners that want the look of real wood blinds, and the convenience of smart-home technologies.
The Coopersburg, Pa.-based company explains that its new Smart Wood Blinds can be customized through the use of its companion app’s Natural Light Optimization function. This option Lutron points out, automatically adjusts throughout the day to allow the optimal amount of daylight into a room to provide, “maximum comfort day after day.”
According to Lutron, one of the major benefits of installing the blinds and the utilization of options such as the Natural Light Optimization function is that homeowners won’t have to manually open and close their shades, which is major concern to most people.
Additionally Lutron emphasizes, the products incorporate its ClearConnect wireless communications technologies, the shades integrate into its RA2 Select and Caseta by Lutron systems. These systems provide a wealth of control options that are highlighted by voice control from either Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.
