Kohler, a global manufacturer of kitchen and bath products, has announced the introduction of its Numi 2.0 smart toilet.

Designed to complement the modern smart home, the stylish toilet provides homeowners with high levels of functionality by providing efficient water consumption, personalized cleaning and drying, as well as options such as a heated seat and built-in loudspeakers. Kohler also points out that its state-of-the-art Numi 2.0 smart toilet provides homeowners voice control capabilities via Amazon Alexa that enables users to access Alexa’s thousands of skills to control the toilet in no way no one ever envisioned.

The company states that its new smart toilet incorporates a stainless-steel wand for front and rear wash modes that offer a choice of adjustable spray shape, position, water pressure and temperature with pulsating and oscillating options.

Kohler emphasizes the Numi 2.0 smart toilet also incorporates an automated self-cleaning function that employs UV light and electrolyzed water systems to clean the wand after each use. The bowl also automatically mists prior to each use to improve rinsing while flushing, and to support the flushing process, the toilet provides automatic deodorization to add to the cleanliness of the product.

Some of the other features the Numi 2.0 incorporates include motion-activated opening and closing of the seat and cover; automatic flush to provide a touchless user experience, and a power-save mode that supports energy efficiency.

In addition, Kohler supports its new smart toilet with its Kohler Konnect app, which is available on the Apple iOS and Android platforms. Through the app, users can customize their Kohler experience notes the Wisc.-based company.
