Providing users with 800 watts of power, Klipsch has introduced its Cinema 800 Dolby Atmos Sound Bar.
Designed as a turnkey surround sound solution, the latest soundbar product from Klipsch utilizes the eARC protocol that is built into the HDMI format, along with a 10-inch wireless 2.4GHz subwoofer that is pre-paired to specifically use with the system.
Klipsch points out the Cinema 800 Dolby Atmos Sound Bar as the name implies offers Dolby Atmos object-based immersive audio decoding, as well as 8K video pass-through, and compatibility with HDCP 2.3.
Some of the other key features the new Klipsch soundbar incorporates include universal Wi-Fi to support voice control via Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, and the Spotify Connect streaming service. The Cinema 800 Dolby Atmos Sound Bar also incorporates Bluetooth to allow users to stream content from their smart devices and computers to the soundbar.
Like other Klipsch components the soundbar employs the company’s horn-loaded tweeter technologies, and to complement its Dolby Atmos capabilities, the Cinema 800 also provides built-in Dolby Digital and Dolby Digital Plus.
In its standard form, the new soundbar comes configured as a 3.1 solution. Klipsch provides the ability to configure the soundbar as a 5.1 solution through the addition of its SURROUND 3 product.
Additionally, the Cinema 800 offers custom-tuned dialog enhancement modes that will raise the volume and adjust the equalization (EQ) of the product, and in beyond its HDMI connectivity, the soundbar offers an optical digital input, analog RCA and 3.5mm inputs.
