EnGenius, a manufacturer of networking and voice communication solutions, has announced that it is shipping its first security gateway product: the ESG510 Security Gateway.
The Calif.-based company states that its latest product is part of its cloud-based series of access points and switches, and the new gateway (router) is easy to setup and deploy. EnGenius points out that its new ESG510 Security Gateway can be managed remotely by integrators or end users with its EnGenius Cloud user interface or Cloud To-Go mobile app.
Engenius notes the security gateway offers integrators two WAN ports and a pair of LAN ports that provide speeds up to 2.5G to support high-speed uplink and downlink transmissions that includes maximum firewall throughput up to 2.35Gbps.
According to EnGenius, the ESG510 Security Gateway offers a number of enterprise-grade security features that include built-in load balancing and safe guards, as well as a stateful firewall that includes high-efficiency filtering and inspection to help support network security, and high-speed and secure site-to-site VPN and client VPN. EnGenius says to help integrators the unit offers fast-acting self healing VPN and VLAN SETUP for fast and easy setup.
The company adds that its new security gateway provides touchless system maintenance, automatic updates, multi-mode pass-through and routing.
