Adding to its selection of network audio players, Cary Audio has introduced its new DMS-800PV and DMS-650 products.
Cary Audio says the DMS-800PV builds upon the performance of its DMS-700 by basically offering users a dual-mono, dual-differential version of the DMS-700. The media player utilizes a pair of AK4499EQ four-channel current output switched resistors DACs, and multiple DSP stages.
The DMS-800PV also includes a 5-inch display and Crystek clock.
Cary Audio points out the DMS-650 network audio player replaces the company’s DMS-550. The new network audio player incorporates AK4497EQ DACs, along with the company’s digital front end, and proprietary analog circuitry.
The North Carolina-based audio company adds the DMS-800PV is only the second product in its history to wear the “Professional Version” badge to underscore the level of performance the product delivers.
Both products are Roon Ready and MQA certified.
Moreover, Cary Audio also notes that visually the DMS-650 features a black-out appearance for the models in black finishes, including a black display frame and black power button. Both the black and silver units’ right-side groove includes a “swoosh” design and a minimalist front panel that omits logos.
