Display manufacturer BenQ has released two golf simulator laser projectors, the Blue Core 4K UHD LK953ST and WUXGA LU935ST short-throw projectors, designed to provide an authentic type of experience for end users, particularly in resimercial markets like resorts and clubs.
BenQ says integrators can pair the projectors with any golf simulator system on the market to deliver a long-lasting, color-accurate image; fast, flexible installation; and a lamp-free, filter-free, IP5X-certified sealed laser engine that requires zero maintenance.
Because, making room for a golf simulator can be challenging, BenQ says it wanted to make installation anywhere as easy as possible. The new Blue Core projectors include several built-in installation mechanisms, such as optical zoom that eliminates the expense of separate lenses and allows the projector to be mounted safely outside the hitting area without the player casting a shadow on the screen.
Other features include lens shift for projectors that need to be mounted off to the side; keystone correction and corner fit for a perfectly centered image; plus multiple HDMI inputs and networking and audio I/Os.
BenQ’s Blue Core lasers also offer long-lasting, 20,000-hour life with consistent color performance, according to the company. In addition, the sealed engine is IP5X-rated, ensuring dust doesn’t damage the projector.
The LK953ST and LU935ST laser projectors are now available and BenQ says its trained staff is ready to assist integration customers to find the ideal golf simulator projector for their location/room.
