Two leading Indianapolis-area custom integration firms — The Premier Group and Ovation AV – have merged. Both companies are known for carrying leading brands for both the home and commercial market.
The merger combines Premier’s leadership position in residential and commercial integrated systems including lighting, window treatments, security and camera surveillance, audio and video entertainment, conferencing systems, and related technology solutions, with Ovation’s expertise and long-standing reputation for providing the best brands in high-end two-channel audio and Dolby Atmos home theater systems.
Jason Barth, CEO of The Premier Group, and Ovation owner, Robert Poynter, have spent the past 6 months developing not only a friendship, but a strategic business partnership culminating in Premier being the managing partner of this Carmel-based technology powerhouse.
The newly formed duo is constructing a brand new, state-of-the-art Experience Center that will remain located at 12345 Meridian Street in the heart of Carmel, Ind., featuring 22,000 square feet of combined showroom floor, meeting spaces for clientele and construction industry partners, and extensive workshop facilities for our growing service and installation personnel. With an anticipated completion date of mid-to-late ’23, the new space will allow homeowners, designers and architects an opportunity to test-drive a wide range of products and systems all under one roof.
