Nexus 21 is breaking ground as more than just a TV lift and mount manufacturer. The company brought its new Eclipse Series drop-down projector concealment to CEDIA 2017 along with a few other new products and even some hidden surprises for attendees.
The Eclipse projector lift stole the show. Coined as a “residential projector concealment reimagined,” the Eclipse lift was featured not only in the Nexus 21 booth but also in the Barco booth, housing the long-awaited residential Loki 4K projector.
The new projector lift comes in two models — E-500 and E-700. It features advanced motorization for smoothness and stability, complete concealment with any ceiling material and brand new installation features and adjustability (no scissors or cables needed). It accommodates over 100 projector models and carries a 10-year warranty.
Nexus 21 says the Eclipse Series projector lift is easy to install. Its snap-in frame and “floating frame technology” allow for four-point leveling and up to one inch of upward adjustment for differing ceiling material thickness. It also provides a push-to-release ceiling panel mechanism for easy maintenance.
Here's the video that played in the Nexus 21 booth alongside its new projector lift:
Eclipse Series Projector Lift Features:
- 100% concealment, attach any ceiling material to ceiling interface plate
- Magnetic trim panel for full access to lift system
- Removable carrier shroud provides 360 degree access for adjustments and
- maintenance of projector
- Proprietary universal projector mount for adjustments to roll, pitch, yaw
- HVAC cutouts, ventilation throughout
- Smooth, quiet, and reliable
Both Eclipse Series projector concealment models ship January 2018.
L-50 Series
Nexus 21 also introduced the L-50 series, a redesign of its flagship L-45 series pop-up and swivel TV lifts.
The new ultra-slim column reduces depth requirement by 4 inches, giving CE pros more design flexibility. The company says its PIEZO safety software adds more travel and makes the system more weather-resistant. Perhaps best of all, the company says, these new products will not cost more than its previous generation series.
Transcend Pro
Taking into consideration requests and suggestions from integrators, Nexus 21 introduced its motorized Transcend Pro motorized over-mantel mount.
“[The motorized Transcend Pro] is everything integrators love about the Transcend mount, with our added advanced linear actuation technology,” says Cory Lovett, CEO, Nexus 21.
The motorized unit moves almost any size TV (up to 125 pounds) out from the wall and down into the perfect viewing position, and it takes less than 20 seconds. The company uses precision engineered tilt adjustments and self-centering manual swivel to create the best viewing experience — hands free.
The Transcend Pro ships fully assembled, and is backed by a 10-year warranty.
Hidden Surprises and Giveaway
“We always try to do something creative at CEDIA and offer it as a giveaway in the booth,” explains Lovett.
This year, the company's giveaway was the Outrider BBQ Island. The concept piece was inspired by the best outdoor installs using Nexus 21. It features a pop-up TV and hidden storage in a backyard entertainment space.
