Meridian America (MAI), a manufacturer of high-performance audio components, has announced its spring event schedule, including business and education events, trade shows and a buying group conference.
Devoted to supporting U.S. Meridian Audio dealers in the custom installation channel, the MAI team will offer education, outreach and product demos to attendees at the following industry events.
CEDIA Business Exchange
San Antonio, Texas

CEDIA volunteer Ryan Donaher, vice president, MAI, will join Meridian dealers and other CEDIA members at the Eilan Hotel and Spa for networking, team-building, mentoring and brainstorming.
The unique sessions give dealers an opportunity to learn how to market and close sales in the demanding and ever-changing custom electronics space.
TecHomeX
Long Beach, Calif.

TecHomeX is designed to connect and educate the home technology ecosystem. Taking place at the Long Beach Convention Center, this event brings together home technology integrators, builders, remodelers, interior designers, architects, realtors, and home contractors to identify and leverage opportunities for success in home technology
As a 2017 event sponsor, Meridian will present the company’s fully integrated client proposal Design and Specification Service, which was developed to free up home technology professionals to focus on other aspects of a project.
Meridian representatives will also showcase the importance of high- resolution audio in today’s smart home environment, where residents are more demanding than ever about the quality of their entertainment experience.
Azione Unlimited Spring Conference

As members of this buying group, MAI will attend the Azione Unlimited Spring Conference, titled “The Sagacious Summit in San Antonio” at the Westin Riverwalk Hotel.
Members of the MAI team will showcase Meridian Audio’s loudspeakers and amplifiers, the Sooloos distributed audio solution, and the company’s Design and Specification Service during the three-day event.
Continued Dedication to CEDIA
As part of the company’s continued commitment to the market, MAI’s Donaher will also participate in CEDIA committee meetings this spring, where he will share ideas and brainstorm with other members as they seek to address the most pressing issues facing the industry and future volunteer efforts and initiatives.
MQA Nights Promote High Resolution Audio
In addition, MAI plans on hosting a number of “MQA Nights” educational endeavors designed to inform custom integrators and other home technology professionals, audiophiles and home entertainment enthusiasts on the significance of high-resolution audio and how the Master Quality Authenticated (MQA) format preserves audio quality in high-resolution audio applications.
Meridian points out that its Sooloos music server system is now compatible with MQA formatting to, enable lossless streaming audio in an end-to-end MAI system that includes Meridian audio loudspeakers, amplifiers, and Sooloos streaming audio.
