According to a recent press release, Lutron Electronics, a provider of smart lighting and shading control solutions, has reached a settlement with Savant Systems, a home control and automation company. Pursuant to the settlement, Lutron dismissed its complaint against the company on Friday, Nov. 1, over U.S. Design Patent no. D734277.
The two smart home industry leaders worked collaboratively to settle the lawsuit in the interest of their mutual customers and look forward to continuing their long-standing integration alliance and relationship.
Lutron is a Supported Partner in Savant’s Partners in Excellence Program with certifications for its Caséta Wireless, RadioRA 2 and HomeWorks QS systems. These products can be controlled via the Savant app.
