Adding to its 3G Ultra HD Over IP Series of products, the new Just Add Power (J+P) Point-to-Point PoE Transmitter (709P2P) enables A/V signal transmission over a single cable.
Just Add Power says that professional integrators can pair its new 709P2P transmitter with any of its receiver products to create simple point-to-point connections, and integrators can also use the transmitter with its PoE daisy-chain receiver to address installations up to four screens.
“When we introduced our PoE 3G receiver earlier this year, we provided our integrators with a way to customize their 4K projects, while increasing installation efficiency and affordability,” states Taft Stricklin, sales team manager, Just Add Power.
“This transmitter further expands our PoE offering, giving our customers even more flexibility. Now they can shoot power, video, control, and superior audio over Cat-5e without any additional labor or Wi-Fi. And because it integrates with the rest of the J+P 3G family, they don't have to rip and replace when clients upgrade or expand their AV systems.”
PoE Transmitter Supports UltraHD and Dolby Atmos
The Just Add Power 709P2P 3G Point-to-Point PoE Transmitter supports today's high-resolution A/V formats, including UltraHD, 4K with HDCP 2.2 copyright protection over a single Cat-5e cable.
The product also supports object-based surround sound formats such as Dolby Atmos, and it supports the use of control end points with RS-232 and IR using Just Add Power's VBS-HDMI IRD RS-232 to IR converter.
The Point-to-Point transmitter provides 40-watts of power to drive up to four receivers, which eliminates the need for additional cabling and power supplies.
The PoE transmitter works with Just Add Power's 2G and 3G series of products to allow integrators to design and build infrastructure networks that meet today and tomorrow's A/V content distribution requirements.
