DIN rail mounting – Legrand’s NuVo P600 multiroom audio – The DIN rail standard for mounting electronics is popular everywhere in Europe, and also in commercial/industrial spaces in the U.S. But the scheme is virtually absent in residential U.S. applications. Here’s NuVo’s P600 multiroom audio system from Legrand in a new DIN rail form factor introduced at ISE 2018. It appears to be the first streaming DIN Rail player. It’s clean and compact and ultimately saves money in labor and parts. “You could do eight zones of audio in this cabinet alone,” says Legrand’s Jason Evans. “It’s very scalable.” The system is powered by the P601 DIN Rail Power supply, each of which supports up to 4 players.
