Sonance’s Jason Sloan spoke with CE Pro about the company’s CEDIA Expo 2019 plans including its new hospitality initiatives.


Recently, CE Pro sat down with Jason Sloan, chief sales officer, Sonance to discuss what the company will be showcasing during CEDIA Expo 2019 in Denver, Colo. from September 10-14. 

What would you say to dealers who are stumbling across your company for the first time?

After 36 years in business, this still happens! We welcome everyone to come and learn about our company, strategy, and products to see if there is a fit with their business.

What would you say to dealers who are already familiar with your product line?

2019 marks an incredibly important year for Sonance. We’ve streamlined our beliefs and branding and will be filling out our product portfolio with solutions that deliver on those ideas.

If a dealer/integrator stops by your booth with only 5 minutes to spare, what’s the one product he should examine or one question he should ask?

We believe the most important question anyone could ask is “why Sonance?” We hope to earn the ability to do business with dealers that share our vision and focus.

Think of your closest competitor (company or product). What is one thing you offer that they don’t? Please be specific.

Our product portfolio is diverse. We are the leader in architectural audio, outdoor audio, amplification, and surround sound but we also offer a complete range of products that hold, charge, and protect tablets and exclusive TRUFIG mounting solutions that allow technology to disappear into architecture.
