Underscoring its commitment to delivering the best user experience in the smart home control category, Elan from Core Brands introduces its next-generation remote controllers, the HR30 and HR10. The company is giving dealers run-throughs of the new controller features during CEDIA 2017 in San Diego at booth #4829 of the San Diego Convention Center.
“Our commitment is to help dealers deliver an outstanding experience to every customer,” says Eric Herdman, Elan product manager. “The HR10 and HR30 remotes do just that by taking seamless control to the next level. Instant access to media, lighting, climate, audio, video and more has never been easier for the homeowner.”
The HR30 allows users to smoothly control multiple media rooms and whole-home automation subsystems. It is highlighted by a flush mount 2.8-inch color touchscreen, which is easily configured using Elan's Configuration Software and is fully compatible with Elan’s current system controller lineup.
The 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi Remote ensures compatibility with today’s wireless networking technology, and its built-in IR blaster allows users to easily control via IR devices when needed, according to the company.
Shipping in October, the HR30 comes with a charging stand and battery and carries an MSRP of $870.
Elan HR10 Remote Targets Single Room Control
Before the HR30 is en route to dealers, Elan will be shipping its new HR10 beginning in September. The HR10 excels as a single room solution for control of media, lighting and climate, according to the company.
The 802.11 b/g/n compatible Wi-Fi remote ensures complete compatibility with today’s wireless networking technology.
The unit sports a 2.4-inch color LCD screen that, like the HR30, is fully configured in the Elan Configuration Software, with three customizable buttons for instant access to music, movies and lighting.
Both remotes feature three customizable buttons for instant personalized access to music, movies, and lighting and is compatible with Elan’s On Screen Display interface.
The HR10 MSRP is $400.
