Signal-distribution company WyreStorm will launch its Modular H2XC Series of HDBaseT matrix switchers at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) in Amsterdam .
WyreStorm says its new Modular H2XC Series of HDBaseT matrix switchers represents its next generation of its H2X series of products.
The new product line has has been developed to enable professional integrators in the residential and commercial markets to meet the challenge of distributing modern source content such as 4K Ultra HD video.
Like the current product line, the H2XC Series of HDBaseT matrix switchers incorporate WyreStorm's proprietary SmartEDID technology to minimize system errors when systems combine the use of 1080p and 4K displays.
Through the product line's modular construction, WyreStorm points out the H2XC Series is available in a choice of 10- or 16-way H2X chassis and a completely customizable selection of transmission cards.
WyreStorm says that dealers can configure the matrix switchers through a choice of specific transmission cards based on their clients' individual needs.

Specific matrix cards available for the product line include the TX-H2X-HDMI that offers 4K with HDR support with multiple audio options up to 230 feet or 1080p to 459 feet. The card's connectivity options include HDMI in, HDBaseT Class A and mirrored HDMI out, S/PDIF audio in, S/PDIF and analog audio out.
The TX-H2X-HDBT card provides the same connectivity options as the H2X-HDMI card, with the exception of having an HDBaseT input rather than HDMI.
Other cards include the TX-H2X-VDZ, which offers HDBaseT in, HDBaseT and mirrored HDMI out and IR to zone. The TX-H2X-ADZ provides users HDMI in and out, as well as S/PDIF audio in, S/PDIF and analog stereo audio out.

WyreStorm's remaining H2XC transmission cards are the TX-H2X-VLC and the TX-H2X-OM3.
The TX-H2X-VLC provides integrators with HDBaseT Class A transmission as far as 230 feet. The card supports 4K at 60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma subsampling, as well as HDR and 12-bit color.
The H2X-OM3 utilizes multi-mode fiber to transmit 4K at 60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma subsampling, 12-bit color and HDR distances up to 984 feet.
