For more than 40 years the Pacific Northwest audio manufacturer AudioControl has designed and built products to serve integrators and specialty AV dealers.
At CEDIA Expo 2021 the Mountlake Terrace, Wash.-based company highlighted several product lines that were developed to help integrators address whole-house audio, commercial and home theater applications.
Representing some of the company’s latest products, AudioControl showcased its new CM Series of amplifiers. Chris Kane, vice president, sales and marketing for AudioControl, explains the CM line of products offer dealers a choice of versatile amplifiers that can be used for any number of AV system installations.
“Highlighting a couple of cool new products this year we have, certainly the big buzz around the show involves our new multichannel amplifiers in the CM series. They are actually dual-mode amplifiers that can play equally well at 70 volts or traditional Lo-Z 2 ohms, 4 ohms, 8 ohms,” says Kane.
“[The amps have] high power levels, built-in DSP controls from the legendary AudioControl platform, as well as lots of integration features, including balanced, unbalanced and digital inputs all designed and manufactured by our team in the Pacific Northwest.”
On the home theater side of the market, AudioControl showed its X series of AV processors, along with its XR series of AV receivers. These products offer integrators anywhere from 12 to 16 channels of amplification to support immersive audio formats such as Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and Auro-3D.
The X Series and XR products also offer Dirac room correction technologies to help maximize the sound quality of the components in any room environment, and other features that include Google Cast, Apple AirPlay 2, aptX Bluetooth and Roon Ready certification.
Kane adds the company’s Director and Architect series of amplifiers provide integrators a range of channel configurations, along with high-power, high-current power capabilities, and DSP configuration options.
