ASCENDO Immersive Audio GmbH continues to bolster its home theater product line through the release of new products such as its Ultra-Low-Noise (DSP ULN2-2604) amplifier. The new amplifier is set to premier at Integrated Systems Europe 2025 (ISE 2025) in Barcelona on Feb. 4-7.
What’s Being Said About It
“Having powerful and low-latency DSP in a high-performance home theater system is no longer a luxury—it’s a necessity. Achieving the perfect balance of power and silence in amplifiers and DSP systems, however, has always been a challenge—especially in ultra-quiet rooms where even the slightest noise can be a distraction,” says Geoffrey Heinzel, co-managing partner of ASCENDO.
“It took us three years of research and development to achieve the perfect balance of power and silence with the DSP ULN2-2604, which has the lowest noise floor available in home theater today.”
What Makes the ULN2-2604 So Special?
According to the German home audio company, the Ultra-Low-Noise Amplifier solves the problem of noisy, distracting DSP systems that interfere with the experience. Designed specifically for powerful and efficient active two- or three-way systems, the DSP ULN2-2604 is designed to deliver high levels of sound quality without any audible noise.
ASCENDO also suggests that its latest amplifier complements larger home theaters. The luxury home audio company specifies the DSP ULN2-2604 as a 2RU 19-inch rack-mountable solution that features back-to-front low-noise ventilation with all connections conveniently located on the back.

Continuing its explanation of the DSP ULN2-2604 amplifier, ASCENDO emphasizes that its new product is a low-noise 2kW amplifier stable to 4 ohms, and a solution that is optimized for highly dynamic woofers. The amplifier also includes selectable 300 watt or 600 watt outputs for tweeters, and the amplifier delivers an ultra-low noise floor of just 20 microvolts.
Some of the DSP ULN2-2604 amplifier’s other features include a third low-noise DSP channel with balanced XLR output for connecting an additional amplifier and speaker if needed. Additionally, an FIR filter is included for linear phase tweeter alignment to support sound synchronization across all channels.
Moreover, the company says for those looking for a digital signal processor (DSP) without amplification ASCENDO offers its new DSP-4D standalone unit.
