Regardless of whether the economy is doing well or not, there is always one category that remains steady for custom electronics professionals: security. Providing dealers with its latest security solution, the Fla.-based electronics manufacturer Metra Home Theater Group has announced its new 16-Channel Hybrid DVR and a new line of Spyclops cameras.
The 16-Channel Hybrid DVR (SPY-DVR16HYB2) provides electronics professionals with a choice of four video technologies—AHD, TVI, analog and IP—to allow for a combination of formats across the DVR's channels.
Dealers can order the DVR with or without a built-in hard drive, and the DVR supports 1080p resolutions, as well as 15 frames per second (fps) with the AHD, TVI and analog formats. Increasing the systems performance when using IP technologies, Metra states the DVR supports 25fps.
