Steinway Lyngdorf has announced a music streaming update for all of its multichannel processors, including Tidal Connect with Dolby Atmos Music. This continues the company’s policy of adding the newest features to its existing products.
Dolby Atmos Music straight from the embedded streaming player
After it was one of the first manufacturers to launch HDMI 2.1 updates for its multichannel processors, Steinway Lyngdorf is among the first companies to update its music streaming and immersive audio capabilities. For the first time in a multichannel processor, the embedded streaming player includes Tidal Connect with Dolby Atmos Music. This allows one to play thousands of Dolby Atmos Music albums directly, specifically recorded or remixed in certified Dolby Atmos Studios to give the listener a totally new, fully immersive sound experience.
The new software also adds airable for internet radio and podcasts, upgrades Apple AirPlay to AirPlay 2, and updates Spotify Connect as well as Roon Ready compatibility. This makes the Steinway Lyngdorf multichannel processors the perfect choice for music lovers as well as movie enthusiasts.
The software update is available now and free of charge for all Lyngdorf Audio and Steinway & Sons processors, including first generation models from previous years.
