Roku has announced the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) Zone, is the latest destination in the Roku Sports experience. The NWSL Zone will showcase live and upcoming games, popular programming and more from the premier professional women’s soccer league. Roku emphasizes, the NWSL is the first women’s league-branded zone, available starting today ahead of the season kickoff on Friday, March 14.
“With the popularity of women’s sports soaring, we’re focusing on amplifying the talent that makes it all happen,” says Joe Franzetta, head of sports at Roku. “Curating a dedicated zone for the NWSL is another step in our mission to champion female athletes, their record-breaking achievements, and their inspiring stories.”
Within the NWSL Zone, fans can find where to watch live games for free or purchase, and enjoy short-form content such as clips, highlight reels, the reairing of games, and more. Viewers can stay updated on schedules and airings, ensuring they never miss a moment of action.

NWSL games will be featured in several sports-focused zones, including the Sports Zone, Soccer Zone, and Women’s Sports Zone. Fans can watch through the NWSL’s domestic media partners—CBS Sports, ESPN, Prime Video, and ION—or stream for free on ION’s channel and NWSL+. Games are also available via Paramount+ through The Roku Channel.
The smart home company adds the launch of the NWSL Zone builds on Roku’s recent collaborations with female-founded and female-supporting studios, including the new weekly talk series, “Women’s Sports Now,” and the WNBA feature documentary, “A Radical Act: Renee Montgomery,” among others.
