Broadening its support of the AV marketplace, Modulus has announced that it is expanding into the commercial AV industry. Designed for the entertainment needs of facilities like sports bars, hotels and conference centers, cruise ships, yachts and private jets, the newly announced Modulus Commercial combines the resources of a media server, streaming player and more into a pair of products with simplified usage modes and unified remote control.
Resimercial integrators will benefit from ease of installation and cost savings as the centralized M1c distributes its entertainment resources over a standard Ethernet or WiFi network to Mx1c “Minis” in each remote space with no need for matrix switchers, third-party control systems, specialized cabling or custom programming. Owners will benefit as their guests enjoy a wide choice of entertainment using an RF remote control with voice command.
The Modulus Commercial M1c and Mx1c are available immediately. On special order, Modulus Commercial products are available with SSD storage, customized menu screens and layouts, pooled master/slave server and complex networking configurations.
