Wireworld, a Fla.-based manufacturer of cabling products, has announced its new Radius 48 HDMI cables.
The company explains that its newest HDMI cables utilize its proprietary Composilex 3 insulation within a triple-shielded design to deliver high levels of AV performance. Wireworld emphasizes the new Radius 48 HDMI cables are certified by the HDMI Group, Lic. to ensure they support HDMI 2.1 specifications through their UHS certification. This certification allows the products to support formats including 8K resolutions, 120Hz refresh rates, dynamic HDR formats, VRR, HDCP 2.3 and Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC).
Wireworld also points out that 48Gbps is an absolute requirement in order to support formats such as 8K and 120 refresh rates, but because the cables are UHS certified, they are fully compatible with previous generations of HDMI.
According to the company, the use of the Radius 48 HDMI cables helps to ensure the best possible performance and reliability for today’s 4K applications.
Wireworld adds the newly improved version of of the Radius 48 HDMI cables remain at the same pricing levels as the previous version, and the UL-CL2/FT4 rated cables are also available in lengths ranging from 0.6 meters to 5 meters.
