Announcing a new addition to its Evolution series of products, Vanco has introduced its EVSP8K22 switching splitter.
The latest addition to the Vanco line of products features a pair of HDMI inputs, as well as a pair of outputs, and the company emphasizes that integrators can set the switching splitter up to send single source signals to two displays while also switching between a pair of source components to send to those signals to the displays.
The EVSP8K22 switching splitter supports resolutions up to 8K at 60Hz and 4K at 120Hz over four channels of 10Gbps FRL for 40Gbps of total bandwidth.
Vanco also explains that its new switching splitter is designed to allow signal switching and splitting, while preserving advanced video functionality. Some of those functions include high-performance graphics from sources such as computers and gaming consoles to enable state-of-the-art gaming activities through its support of HDMI features such as Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and Auto Low Latency Mode (VLLM).
Some of the other features the EVSP8K22 switching splitter provides integrators includes a built-in equalizer with advanced EDID that automatically detects connected component parameters. In addition, the unit also supports a range of HDR formats, including Dolby Vision, HLG, HDR10 and HDR10+.
