M&K Sound has announced its new V Series V10+, V12+ and V15+ small-footprint subwoofers.
Designed to integrate into a range of home environments, M&K Sound points out the V12+ and V15+ models have earned THX certification. M&K Sound explains the V12+ V Series model has achieved THX Certified Select status, and the larger V15+ has achieved Certified Ultra status, which means the subwoofers are capable of producing cinema reference sound levels in 2,000-square foot and 3,000-square foot rooms each respectively.
The V Series V10+ model incorporates a 10-inch driver, along with a Class-D, 300-watt RMS amp that is capable of producing 600-watt peak levels. The V12+ model employs a 12-inch woofer that’s driven by a Class-D, 400-watt RMS amplifier that’s capable of producing 800-watts peak. The V Series V15+ subwoofer features a 15-inch woofer that’s powered by a Class-D, 500-watt RMS amplifier that is capable of delivering 1,000-watt peak levels.

M&K Sounds notes the new subwoofers’ treated, reinforced paper-cone drivers reside in sealed, anti-resonant enclosures.
Other features include a companion iOS and Android app for the V12+ and V15+ models. The app enables the adjustment of volume, crossover frequency, delay and phase. Moreover, the app supports onboard control options for integrators to setup manual equalization (EQ) or auto EQ parameters.
M&K Sound adds the new V Series subwoofers are available in a choice of black satin or white satin finishes.
