Adding to its line of commercial projectors, Sony Professional has introduced its new VPL-PHZ61 and VPL-PHZ51 3LCD laser projectors.
The new WUXGA resolution (1920 x 1200) projectors are said to be the world’s smallest 3LCD projectors. Sony Professional states that its latest projectors combine the latest features, with high-brightness capabilities, and the ability to support a range of installation environments.
The company points out that integrators can install the VPL-PHZ61 and VPL-PHZ51 projectors in settings that include corporate, education, entertainment, simulation and museum environments. The projectors provide integrators with +55% vertical shift, and the company’s Reality Creation real-time signal processing, mapping and analysis technologies.
The VPL-PHZ61 is rated to produce up to 6,400 lumens (7,000 lumens center) and the VPL-PHZ51 is rated to produce up to 5,300 lumens (5,800 lumens center).
Some of the other features the new Sony Professional 3LCD laser projectors offer include the ability to support 4K at 60Hz input for compatibility with 4K video sources, and Bright View technology, which is said to enable colors to accurately maintain their contrast and vivacity.
Sony Professional adds the VPL-PHZ61 and VPL-PHZ51 projectors also incorporates its Ambiance feature that automatically measures the room’s brightness using an ambient light sensor, and the light sensor also helps’ the projectors’ Bright View, color gain and Reality Creating settings.
