Binary, SnapAV’s media distribution brand has announced a new reengineered line of HDMI Cables.
The new Binary HDMI cables are designed to reliably support video signals up to 4K at 60Hz with HDR, and the cables are said to provide, “unmatched pull and bend strength for the most intricate jobs.”
According to Binary, the cables feature reinforcements at the cable head, and power independent of a USB source.
Binary states the product line is available in four versions:
- The B4 cable supports 4K at 10.2 Gbps and 30Hz in 0.3 meter to 7.5 meter lengths.
- The B6 cable is Premium Certified, and it supports Ultra HD 4K at 18Gbps and 60Hz in 0.3 meter to 7.5 meter lengths.
- The B6 Active cable supports 4K Ultra HD with HDR at 18Gbps and 60Hz in 10 meter to 20 meter lengths, and 10.2Gbps and 30Hz in 25 meter and 30 meter lengths.
- The B8 Active cable uses fiber optics to support 4K Ultra HD with HDR at 18Gbps and 60Hz, along with support of the HDMI 2.0b format at 20 meters to 50 meter lengths.
