The Strong brand of equipment racks from Snap One has announced its new line of in-cabinet slide out racks.
Snap One says that its latest product release offers integrators a choice of rack solutions for small spaces in a range of sizes from 8U to 42U, and the company emphasizes the new Strong in-cabinet slide out racks are capable of supporting as much as 136 kg (approximately 300 pounds).
According to the global custom electronics equipment manufacturer, the new racks simplify dealer cabinet access with a new design that is space friendly and does not require the sacrificing of space in order to fit a slider base. Each model of the in-cabinet slide out racks incorporates a 48 cm (18.8 inches) slide out with locking 180-degree rotation capabilities.
Snap One stresses that with its new rack products both the slide and rotation of the units can be unlocked using foot pedals that allow a single-person to operate the racks, and the rotation of the in-cabinet slide out racks can be locked in three different positions.
In addition, Snap One says it focused on convenience and flexibility with optional rack tops; the addition of pre-cut knockouts on top for the running of cables, and pre-drilled mounting points to facilitate 120mm cooling fans.
