Adding a new commercial loudspeaker to its line of products, Pure Resonance Audio has announced its new C5 Ceiling Mount loudspeaker.
According to the company, its new ceiling speaker was developed to serve dealers in a range of commercial applications. The C5 Ceiling Mount Speaker is a 4-inch, 70-volt solution that is supported by a choice of mounting options. Pure Resonance Audio states that its new speaker can be installed in locations such as traditional drop-ceiling tiles through the use of the included Easy-Mounting Ring, and it can also install into drywall ceilings by using the optional C5-DM Drywall Mounting Ring.
Additionally, the company points out that integrators can install the ceiling mount loudspeaker in locations such as exposed structures and high-open ceilings through the use of its C5-PK Pendant Mounting Kit, and that if situations arise in which additional support is needed, dealers can use Pure Resonance Audio’s Ceiling Speaker Tile Bridge. The tile bridge provides a round 6.31-inch cut-out for use in drop ceilings and suspended-ceiling environments.
Pure Resonance Audio adds that its latest speaker incorporates a 4-inch paper cone driver, along with a rubber surround to help the product produce a 120-degree x 120-degree dispersion pattern. The ceiling speaker is also 91dB sensitive, and it is rated to produce a frequency response of 91Hz to 20kHz.
