Loxx Boxx, a new home security solution company points out that in 2022 more than 260 million packages were stolen from homes by porch pirates. Designed to end theft by porch pirates, the North Carolina-based company has introduced a pair of home delivery security boxes.
The company points out that home deliveries are expected to rise in 2023, and that its home security products are designed to provide UPS, the U.S. Mail Service, Fed Ex and other delivery services a solution that protects homeowners’ parcel deliveries. According to Loxx Boxx, home security solutions like and sensors and doorbell cameras are popular devices, but they do not prevent theft. The company emphasizes that through these devices homeowners end up watching their deliveries walk away.
Addressing this growing problem, Loxx Boxx stresses is its home delivery solution is available in a choice of two sizes: Classic and Household. Through these sizes the company explains, homeowners can safely receive a range of deliveries of any size and shape. The company states the Classic and Household delivery boxes are built using durable steel that is welded tight to protect deliveries from porch pirates, pests, and environmental elements.
Loxx Boxx notes the boxes come fully assembled and they ship with mounting hardware to help expedite the delivery boxes’ setup process.
The new home security company adds it offers the Classic and Household security boxes in a choice of easy-to-clean, UV resistant finishes, and it says the boxes also come with rechargeable batteries to power functions such as a thermometer that monitors internal temperatures and a tamper alarm.
