Lowell Manufacturing has announced its latest line of loudspeakers: The newly introduced ESP Series of Pendant Speakers.
According to the Pacific, Mo.-based manufacturer, the new speakers will start shipping in early 2021, and they are engineered to complement its ES Series of recessed ceiling loudspeakers.
Lowell Manufacturing explains the ESP Series of products utilize the same drivers and transformers as the ES Series to provide integrators and their clients with high levels of speech intelligibility and full-frequency response for music playback.
The company points out that its new pendant products are versatile with built-in bracket assemblies that enable integrators to hang the speakers from cables or pipes. Lowell Manufacturing emphasizes the ESP Series of speakers can also convert to surface mount by using an optional U-bracket.
ESP Series of Pendant Speakers are available in multiple versions. Lowell Manufacturing offers a 6.5-inch 50-watt coaxial speaker, as well as an 8-inch 120-watt coaxial driver version, and an 8-inch 150-watt speaker model.
All of the speakers feature ABS plastic ported enclosures in a choice of black or white, and the speakers use a tapered profile to augment their low-frequency response. The ESP Series Pendant Speakers also incorporate transformer tap selector switches that provide a choice of 25-, 70- or 100-volt operation.
In addition, all of the speakers provide 4- and 8-ohm transformer bypass options.
