The latest product from the U.K.-based home technology company HDANYWHERE is the uControl Remote Control.
Available in the U.S. starting in June from Apex Technologies, the new remote control is designed to easily integrate into HDANYWHERE (HDA) systems and it can be used as a whole-home control solution. Apex Technologies and HDA explain the uControl remote control offers integrators a dedicated and customizable remote control that incorporates an easy-to-use hard button layout and an OLED display that communicates important system information.
HDA states that it developed its new remote control from scratch and integrators can use it to meet a range of control needs for their clientele.
Some of the features the new uControl Remote Control offers includes a combination of Wi-Fi and Infrared (IR) control technologies that enables integrators to control AV and third-party control systems, including solutions from Rako, Hue, Lutron, GUDE, BluOS, Shelly and others. HDA points out the remote features 44 hard buttons that includes a number pad, navigation wheel, volume up/down, channel up/down, and play/pause buttons.
The uControl Remote Control also offers users red, green, yellow and blue buttons, as well as dedicated favorite buttons that execute macro commands.
HDA adds setup is driven by the uControl App, which is powered by the company’s HDA Cloud.
