Bolstering its selection of home friendly energy saving products, Eaton has introduced its Wi-Fi smart voice dimmer switch.
Eaton says the new addition to its Wi-Fi smart devices family of products offers homeowners a high level of convenience through the cloud-based Amazon Alexa voice control platform.
According to the company, through the introduction of the Wi-Fi smart voice dimmer switch, homeowners can issue voice commands to control their lighting to provide a convenient way to control their lights, and Eaton emphasizes that users can state phases such as, “dim the dining room lights” or “Alexa, announce ‘dinner is ready.'”
Eaton notes that as an extension to its Wi-Fi smart device family of products, the Wi-Fi smart voice dimmer is engineered to seamlessly integrate with Amazon Alexa to offer professional integrators a lighting product that is easy to setup.
The company adds there is no need for system hubs, and once the dimmer is setup, all integrators need to do is open the Amazon Alexa app, find the Eaton products and finish the setup of the Eaton smart devices.
Moreover, once the system is completely setup, integrators can setup schedules and they can group devices together to make lighting systems more homeowner friendly.
