Released to a global market, the newly announced DoorBird A1121 access control device serves as a standalone solution that supports secure access control via PIN code or RFID transponder.
The company says that its latest product can be used in locations such as side entrances, garages and service rooms, and DoorBird boasts the new product reaches a new milestone in the category of intelligent door communications. The DoorBird A1121 access control device’s inclusion of PIN keypad and RFID capabilities provides property owners a solution that enables secure entry without the need for a video intercom.
DoorBird explains the multifunctional A1121 access control device incorporates two relays that are capable of triggering actions at two doors, gates, a well as HTTPs calls. According to the German manufacturer, the new access control device can also be paired with its A1081 I/O Door Controller that provides another three relays per device.
The company points out the new access control solution offers entry through a PIN code or RFID transponder, and administrators can can define schedules and specific actions for each PIN code and RFID transponder to assign individual access rights to authorized users.
The A1121 access control device also incorporates an integrated tamper sensor that can detect when a device is removed to send a push notification to an administrator.
DoorBird offers its latest product in a choice of colors, and the company adds the A1121 can also be remotely programmed using the company’s app or web-based administration tool.
