Comprehensive Connectivity Company has announced an upgrade for its popular Microflex HDMI cable that enables the product to support today’s and tomorrow’s AV technologies.
The new Comprehensive Microflex Pro AV/IT Integrator Series Certified Ultra High Speed 8K 48G HDMI Cables are capable of supporting 8K video, as well as other formats such as HDR, Deep Color, 21:9 aspect ratios, and up to 32 audio channels with eARC and immersive Dolby Atmos.
Comprehensive Connectivity notes the cables come with built-in Ethernet, and the cables are built to withstand the daily rigors of system integration in a range of commercial and residential environments.
According to the company, the Microflex HDMI cable also incorporates features such as its ProGrip and Surelength technologies in a low-profile design, and the products are constructed with flexibility in mind.
Some of the specific applications in which the new 48Gbps cables can be used include tight spaces such as surface access boxes, as well as behind equipment racks and behind mounted flat-panel televisions.
The Comprehensive Connectivity Company adds the cables are also offered in a choice of seven colors to allow integrators to use multiple cables in a system installation, while being able to identify various sources from their color of cable.
